Targeted cooling for the rack that runs hotter than the room around it
The Liebert® XD system uses pumped refrigerant to add sensible spot and zone cooling exactly where a high heat-density rack needs it, without the floor space a full additional cooling unit would take.
Liebert® XDV mounts on top of the cabinet or suspends from the ceiling; the same product family includes the Liebert XDH in-row module and Liebert XDO overhead module, all served by a central Liebert XDC or XDP pumping unit.
- Can cool more than 10kW per rack
- Pumped refrigerant operates at low pressure and becomes a gas at room conditions — safe for use around electronic equipment
- Smart Module technology: sheds an individual fan to save energy, and reports per-fan status over a dry contact
- Complements existing Liebert precision cooling units rather than replacing them
- Dual (A and B) detachable power cords for added uptime
