The cornerstone of a dual-bus power configuration
The Liebert® Static Transfer Switch2 (STS2) provides automatic, seamless transfer between your critical load and the outputs of two independent UPS systems in a dual-bus power configuration. If the primary UPS should fail, the switch transfers the load to the alternate UPS.
STS2 is a family of system static switches available in 100A to 1850A capacities, specified against the facility's load, voltage and switchgear rather than picked as a single fixed model.
- 100A–1850A capacities, 208V through 600V, 50Hz or 60Hz
- Triple redundant control logic with dual power feeds
- Fast, break-before-make switching with 1/4 cycle maximum transfer time
- Compact single cabinet up to 1000A; 1200–1850A available as a stand-alone chassis for third-party switchgear
- Standard on-unit monitoring, with optional centralized monitoring
